SDCC’13: LEGO unveils Back to the Future set!
If you are at San Diego Comic Con do the responsible thing and SPRINT TO THE LEGO BOOTH AND BUY THE BACK TO THE FUTURE SET!!
After a successful Cuusoo campaign, the Delorean design was put into production and now will be available for the world on August 1. But, LEGO did bring a limited number of sets to SDCC, so as I mentioned before, go pick it up now!
This set features such details as the Flux Capacitor, a time display tile, the Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor, and LEGO Minifigure versions of Marty McFly and Dr. Emmet “Doc” Brown. You can build all three versions as featured in the Back to the Future™ trilogy, right down to the printed OUTATIME and barcode license plates. This unique set also includes a fascinating instruction booklet containing production notes, original images and fun details from the movies.
This is simply the coolest. It is going to be hard to top this Comic-Con pickup. Hopefully the set goes over well so that LEGO will create a life-sized replica of the hover-board!
Whether you pick it up this weekend or have to wait until the release date of August 1 the set is going to cost you $34.99.
