According to information sent to us from the Walt Disney Studios, actress Britt Robertson (Under the Dome, Delivery Man) has been cast in the lead role in Disney’s Tomorrowland.

In the film, a high school girl with an unconventional understanding of technology is launched on a journey to reclaim her future.

Robertson joins a cast that already includes George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy and Thomas Robinson.

Tomorrowland is directed by Brad Bird and arrives in theaters on December 12, 2014.

    Well… I thought movies based on Disney rides were a bad idea. The Haunted Mansion proved me right. The Pirates of the Carribean proved me wrong. I will just have to wait and see.
