Spider-Man gets a sister
The X-Files: Season 10 #1
For years they investigated the paranormal, pursued the “monsters of the week,” and sought the truth behind extraterrestrial activity, along with the grand conspiracy surrounding it rooted deep within their own government. But when AGENTS MULDER and SCULLY reunite for a new, ongoing series that ushers THE X-FILES into a new era of technological paranoia, multinational concerns and otherworldly threats, it’ll take more than a desire “to believe” to make it out alive. The X-Files: Season 10 also sees creator Chris Carter return to the fold as Executive Producer!
A1 #1 WIth EXCLUSIVE DIGITAL CONTENT including original art and sketches! But what terrifying secrets will Alice uncover about his new client — one who commissions him to produce a race of flying monkeys?! AKANEIRO #2 American McGee’s reenvisioning of Red Riding Hood takes shape as this all-new story. By Joe Hill and Jason Ciaramella, the writing team that brought you the Eisner-award nominated one-shot, The Cape, with art by Vic Malhotra. Thumbprint will turn your guts inside out.
Major Spoilers Poll of the Week
A lot has been said about the Man of Steel this past week. We’ve had a couple of reviews (both text and video), and featured a place where you could share your thoughts on the movie. Online there is also a lot of talk about the pros and cons of the film, with some absolutely loving it, and others loathing it. We’ve heard all the good and all the bad, but today, it’s about your fellow movie goer.
To build interest in the toy, Parker Brothers licensed the character to Marvel Comics which created a comic book featuring Rom. The comic expanded on the premise that Rom was a cyborg and gave him an origin, personality, set of supporting characters and villains, as well as interaction within the Marvel Universe. The comic was written by Bill Mantlo and initially illustrated by artist Sal Buscema.
