Have you ever had the feeling that you’ve done something befo– Naah, skip it. Nevermind, bygones. In any case, the worlds of pop culture are chock-full of characters who are fun to read about, and fun to imagine romantic entanglements, but what about a good old-fashioned Saturday night good time? Who would be the most fun on a pub crawl? Would Tyrion Lannister be a drag at the movies? Sure, Tony Stark would probably pay for everything, but would he stagger and slobber all over your date? Is the thought of hanging out with Superman enough to offset the chance that his idea of a good time is playing cribbage till the shockingly late hour of 9:45 pm? Most importantly, how many whiskey sours before The Invisible Woman yells “WHOO!”, does a table-dance and gets you kicked out of T.G.I. Fridays?
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would probably stay clear of the Fun-Vee, though, if only ’cause of shrapnel, asking: You get to spend tonight in the non-romantic company of ONE fictional character. Who is it, what do you do, and why?

Deadpool, whatever pops into his head, because with Deadpool that could mean watching a Bea Arthur marathon and eating chimmychangas, performing a hit on a bad guy or going to Vegas with Hit Monkey. The one liners and randomness would guarantee an interesting evening.
Wally West! Because I’ve always liked the guy. I think he’d be fun to hang out with. Kyle Rayner and Dick Grayson come in a close second, with J’onn J’onzz coming in an even closer third. No, wait, swap Wally for Kyle, I’ve always been curious to learn more about how the ring works.
The Doctor because then that night would last for as long as I wished! Or is that too much like using a wish to wish for more wishes?
If not The Doctor, then I would spend the night with Han Solo just to see if the Millennium Falcon really can make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.
I was going to say The Doctor until I realized that no matter where/when
we went, we wouldn’t get there and instead wind up on some Dalek- or Weeping Angel-infested planet.
Judah Macabee, The Hammer, from Nexus. Party animal of literally galactic proportions.
Ferris Bueller. If nothing else, we won’t be playing by the rules.
Commander Worf of the U.S.S. Enterprise. Most likely go to the holodeck and beat up some Romulans, drink bloodwine, train with a Bat’leth or who knows maybe something involving painsticks. As for the why? It’s Worf, you don’t really argue with him.
Making two choices, in case one is unavailable.
Choice 1: The Doctor and I jump in the TARDIS and head off to some alien world where they are doing strange medical experiments on beings. We’ll get split up (because I’m in a wheelchair and cannot run that fast), and I’ll be taken for experimentation. The experimentation will “fix” all of my health problems, but due to my unusual reaction to meds and things, it’ll also leave me with above-average abilities. I’ll free the others that are being experimented on, including a couple of young alien orphan girls, then meet back up with The Doctor to finish stopping the whole evil operation. Due to my being semi-upgraded, I’ll be unable to return home to Earth, so I’ll stay behind and adopt the orphan alien girls and finally have two of my biggest dreams fulfilled: An adventure with The Doctor and kids of my own.
Choice 2: I’d love to play charades with Silent Bob on my team (hey, not all my dreams are so big).
Aw. That’s beautiful. I now want to read the fan-fiction story of Mynx and The Doctor.
I’d have to go with the Doctor here. Just for a day trip, like Clara did this past season. Who wouldn’t like to have cool adventures?
Gandalf, not because of the simple evening or anything I just have been working on a game off and on for years and if I could just get the correct numbers for the armies of middle earth I’d be able to finish it. And of all the beings of middle Earth he could probably get the various armies of men, elves, dwarves and evil creatures closest to the actual numbers.
I have a lot of spare time at work where my over-active imagination just starts with these things, so one is nearly impossible. The Doctor feels like cheating, not that it would stop me. Girls night with Kaylee Frye would be awesome. Out for a nice dinner with Bilbo Baggins, nothing better than a couple of foodies, and maybe some Elvish lessons.
Seriously, this is stuff I think about when it’s slow at work… I really hope my boss doesn’t see this.
