Diamond Select Toys sent us some fantastic images of three upcoming Klingon disruptor replicas, that light up and make sounds.
With three different settings, the thumb trigger can activate single shot, rapid-fire and “disintegrate” sound effects, with a flickering red LED at the muzzle. The standard model is based on the weapon’s appearance in <em>Star Trek: The Next Generation</em>, but Action Figure Xpress will have an exclusive <em>Star Trek III</em> version of Commander Kruge’s weapon of choice!
I think I’m buying all of these… you know… for the kids…
That looks much better than the one I currently have (From Playmates old Star Trek toy line).
I definitely need to try to get my hands on this (either version) and the tricorder shown on the back of the box to accessorize my costumes.
I like the old one better, but I like TOS better anyway.
