If you listened to the 500th Major Spoilers Podcast you heard a 5 year old talking about his love for Skylanders. Needless to say, if the MS HQ was located in the Big Apple I know where Stephen would be on February 5th: in line at Toys”R”Us Times Square to hopefully get a Skylander Giants figure that won’t be officially released for months.

In celebration of Toy Fair happening in New York this month, Activision and Toys”R”Us are planning a day of fun at their Times Square store that will be kicked off with a giveaway of a free Skylanders Giant figure. Ninjini is not planned to be officially released in the States for a few months. There is no word on how many figures will be given away so makes sure to arrive early to make sure you receive yours.

Along with the Ninjini figure the store has other sales going on in the form of $25 off Skylanders Giants Starter Pack and “buy 2, get 1 free” Giant Skylanders figures until store closing. Kids will also be able to meet their favorite Skylander figures at the store while they move between gaming stations, displays, and even more giveaways.

And just when we finished buying all the giants, this one appears… maybe I won’t let The Boy know about this one…

I’ve wanted this figure since I first saw the character in promotional artwork. But I’m nowhere near NY, so I’m out of luck. Also, does her belt remind anyone else of the Star Sapphire logo?

I need more feminine Skylanders for my collection!!

Stephen…no doubt. My son turns 5 in 3 weeks and he cant really decide which ones he wants. We only have 7 at the moment and I think he will at least double that amount.. He loves this game in all of its forms (xbox, iOS, and online).
