When DC Nation returns, we’ll all be sitting there watching Green Lantern and Young Justice, but we’ll really be waiting for the incredibly well done interstitials.  This week, be on the look out for Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld.

There are so many great shorts that are being created, I wonder how long it is going to take The Suits to realize that there are a number of full length shows that can be developed to extend the DC Nation block, and thus seize control of the Cartoon Network once and for all?

DC Nation returns January 05, 2013.

And then we compare this tonally to SWORD OF SORCERY. Don’t get me wrong, that comic is pretty good. But talk about mood whiplash, especially if you’re a little girl hearing there’s a comic book after watching these shorts, and the first thing is a girl almost getting raped.

Great brand synergy there, DC. Then again, They aren’t the only ones dropping the ball in that regard.

Is anyone else getting a strong Sailor Moon vibe from this short?
