What is best in life? Conan the Barbarian with a giant axe about to slice open a bear statue is what. Thankfully Slideshow Collectibles knows this and made a statue accordingly. Pictures right after the jump.

Available for preorder through Slideshows Newsletter on January 3 is this beautiful Conan statue. There are two versions of the statue: a black beast and a non-colored beast version. Both versions come in with a price tag of $499.99 so don’t let price stop you from getting the one you want. If that is just too much money to spend all at one the company will have a payment plan in place of $83.33 if that sounds better to you.

Details describing the product were scarce, but looking through the pictures it would seem that Conan will come with a few different weapons so that you can choose how we will take down the beast, including a battle axe, sword, or dagger. The sculpt is highly detailed throughout and it is sure to be massive, so if you are a fan of The Barbarian I would keep an eye out for the newsletter tomorrow.

I concur, but I am curious what story (if any) this is from.

Seems at the very least inspired by the classic Frazetta painting. I like!
