    One other thought. If Beast could bring back the original X-Men to try to set Scott right then why wouldn’t he bring up Charles Xavier, the man that Scott killed, to do that rather than risking his own neck by bringing himself up in the time line? Just a thought.

    Because Xavier would not let him – the damage to the Space Time Continuum would be too great a risk for Xavier. Now if the Beast could create a tool that would let Xavier’s mental powers reach the future to telepathically communicate with Cyclops, then that would be genius.
