One of the best things about the holiday season is giving gifts to those we love and care about. But what should you give? Each year we serve up our Holiday Gift Guide, and we’re happy to kick it off this year with one of our very own products – Critical Hit T-shirts!
For the last year we have been working with the award winning Thomas Perkins on concepts and designs of all your favorite Critical Hit players. We even made a design for Ket!
If you are not familiar with Thomas Perkins’ art, you can check out his site here, and if you have kids, you simply must check out his Lunch Bag Blog that shows off work he does for his kids every day. If his style looks familiar, it may be because you’ve seen his work on Ben 10, Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, and many other places. If you can’t tell, we really love Mr. Perkins’ work, and are honored to have his designs be a part of the Critical Hit universe.
One of the most difficult parts of bringing a product to life is finding a company that we can work with, who isn’t jacking up prices or trying to cheat everyone out of more money. I like to work with local business whenever possible, but in order to get these fantastic designs on shirts at a reasonable price, I had to look elsewhere. Thankfully, friend of Major Spoilers, and founder of the Frogpants Network (where many of you found the Critical Hit podcast), Scott Johnson, and founder of Dog House Systems John Pryor, recently launched their own online store – /LOOT (slashloot.com), and we’ve been working together to create a line of Critical Hit products we are proud of. Everyone at /LOOT has been great, and we are super excited to offer these shirts to you through them. If you have questions, they answer them quickly, and delivery time for the shirts is short enough that you can order them today, and have them in time for the holidays!
So do yourself, and us a favor and pick up a shirt (or even better all five) and wear it to show your support for Major Spoilers as we continue to deliver more content to you. We’ve been doing Critical Hit for several years now, and want to continue to deliver up more podcasts (and more products in the future). Your support now will help all of us going forward.
