Here’s the reason for that inexplicable ending to Gokiager Vs. Gavan: It’s another in-joke because in the last episode of Space Sheriff Shaider (and thus the Space Sheriff Trilogy) that same God Voice told Gavan, Sharivan and Shaider to transform together to the kids at home could see it. This is the only video of it I could find, but unfortunately it starts right after the Voice.

People vs George Lucas is decent, it’s a lot less venomous than you might expect. The overall tone by the end is “Yes, the prequels sucked, but cut the dude a break because the original trilogy was so awesome.”

The Red Letter Media guys did a nice interview with the director of People Vs George Lucus. He makes a good case for why he made the film
