Like supernatural tales with a lot of explody bits? Like fairy tales brought to life, mixing high fantasy with technology that couldn’t possibly exist? The extremely violent trailer for the upcoming Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters has arrived, and though I’m holding judgement until I actually see the entire movie (when it arrives on iTunes… screw that Netflix where it won’t cost me anything extra), the movie feels a lot like Van Helsing.
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters stars Jeremy Rener (Avengers), and Gemma Arterton (Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time).
This is the only way they can interest me with this movie. Going 100% gore, blood and nudity.
Not becaurse all movies should be like that, but it will make for a different kind of neo-fairytale movie than the wanna-be Disney movies we have seen lately.
I would have preferred over the top German accents.
Cameo by Bruce Campbell or no sale.
Looks better than Jackman’s VanHelsing. But only time will tell.
