Recently, I watched ‘The Voice’ during a slow night shift, and much to my surprise found myself enjoying it quite a bit. The lack of a cynical Simon Cowell figure probably helped the show’s case, but I also found myself fascinated by the smooth stylings of Cee-Lo Green and his cockatiel. When his big hit (the actual title of which cannot be reported on a family website like Major Spoilers) broke out a summer or two ago, I remember thinking how awesome it was that his delivery was so strong that the tune became popular despite being unairable, an impressive feat in itself. Today, at work, a co-worker asked me what famous person I would most like to be, and I realize that the answer was, in fact, Cee-Lo himself. (Plus, I’ve always wanted to dye a pet to match my outfit…)
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always “misquoted”) wishes you the best, although there’s pain in it’s chest, asking: If you could step into the life of any popular figure, who would it be and why?

I would be Richard Branson because he can travel anywhere he wants, and he’s so rich that if he has a business idea he can go and do it, even if it involves building spaceships. That’s cool. Oh, and he owns an island.
Vince McMahon. Control my own company and put myself on tv whenever I want
The Dos Equis guy….
He played a Red Shirt in Star Trek and survived the entire episode.
Grant Morrison, really just to see how he perceives the world.
Real People: Pretty much any female Super Sentai actress. They get to be two things I’ll never be, actresses in one of my favorite series and cute asian girls (which I will never be no matter how hard I try). A number of them go on to have decent careers as well, sometimes as actors, sometimes as pop stars, sometimes doing animated voice work, etc.
Fictional People: Jade (daughter of the original GL).
who? ;)
