Having snagged a licensing agreement with the House of Ideas, NECA is ready to show off their first product, and who better to choose than the first Avenger?

With a license that encompasses both the Marvel comics and movie universes, NECA could start creating any character they so choose, but with the world shaking success of Avengers this year they really only had a few choices for their first launch. Captain America is apart of NECA’s 1/4 scale line and comes in standing at 18″ tall. The figure has 25 points of articulation, so if all the pieces work right owners should be able to create dynamic poses with the character. But you are going to have to be quick on the order because only 7,500 figures are going to be sold worldwide.

A price point hasn’t been set yet, but with the limited run, scale, and articulation I can imagine this won’t be the cheapest figure you have ever purchased. Captain America will be released in December with the company saying to be on the look out for more figures in this line coming soon after.
