One of the favorite artists at Major Spoilers Francesco Francavilla. I originally got hooked on his Pulp Sunday blog where he would post all sorts of pulpy related art, including his original creation Black Beetle.  Today, Mr. Francavilla has announced that Black Beetle is getting a mini-series that arrives in January 2013 from Dark Horse Comics.

In addition, the artist has posted a Pulp Sunday 5th anniversary exclusive – the cover to The Black Beetle #0 that hits stands in December, that will collect the Night Shift that appeared in Dark Horse Presents.

This is great news, and I hope we see more Black Beetle in the future!
