Who’s Miss Thing? And which Ant Man is this? I’m thinking it’s Scott Lang. Hank Pym would be a better fit for a super science team, but It would be like demoting him to simply a Reed Richards replacement.
The Legion of Substitute Fantastic Four’ers???? The art’s like Madman (which I hate) and what the hell are the things coming out of Ant-Man’s hands??? And “Miss Thing” is about the most stupid looking concept I have ever seen in years of comic book reading. Damn, guys…Squirrel Girl is a better idea than this.
If this thing makes it past a 12 issue limited series run I’d be shocked. Bleah!
Make that two of us (at least) who hate Allred’s art. He =murdered= X-Force so badly that… well, he literally MURDERED X-Force (his B-team version, at least). As much as I rant about “if the story’s good, I don’t care who does the artwork”, I find Allred’s art ACTIVELY annoying — i.e., I can’t get past how much it bugs me to appreciate the underlying story, whether it’s good or not. Now he’s B-teaming the FF? This falls under “never read”, simply because it looks like something that Andy Warhol (who I’ve nothing against) might draw if he was trying to make a post-modern (this is where the annoyance comes in) comic book-cum-art statement. I wish he’d stick to his own characters, because if that happened I’d never encounter his work again. If DC can dump JLI after 12 issues, why can’t this be canned preemptively? ^_^

As a counterpoint, I’m actually looking forward to this.
Well, your mileage is naturally allowed to vary, but If I Ruled The Comic-Book World you’d be deprived of it pretty darn quickly. >_^ I just think his style “works” for Madman, but.. Well, that’s it. It’s no real biggie, and I know I’m under no obligation to buy/read this book, but I kinda liked what Matt Fraction was doing with the Fantastic Four and the Future Foundation concepts, and thus slightly irked that my enjoyment will be lessened by this (in my opinion) god-awful artwork. Have a nice day! *thumbs up!* (Sorry, I couldn’t resist the Mick Foleyesque cheap-pop non-sequitur.)

Except you don’t rule the world. And the book’s coming out anywhere, regardless of what you say. You don’t have to buy it. No one’s forcing you to.
…that’s the old Thing suit Reed designed for Ben, right?
…I thought it was designed in such a way only the blue-eyed Ben could make it work…
…and it was destroyed, wasn’t it? Reed rebuilt it?
…I haven’t kept tabs on the Inhumans, but Medusa is leaving Black Bolt’s side for this?
…ah well…
I can see why they sat on releasing this announcement till the back of the pack…
i see they’re switching the gender dynamic of the team as the fantastic four has 3 guys and 1 woman, this team has 3 girls and 1 man. i always though miss thing would have been a great and suitable name for sharon what’s her name? ben’s girlfriend who actually got transformed into a female thing. don’t know who this is but she does look stupid.
