The shear amount of announcements that will be coming out of San Diego this week is astounding, and this announcement from IDW has fans of the Friendship Is Magic series running to update their pull-lists.

Set to arrive this November is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic being written by Katie Cook and illustrated by Andy Price. IDW announced the team up with Hasbro this morning at their ComiCon panel. No art work was shown or story arcs discussed at the panel, but if you look at Price’s DeviantArt page it seems that he has been preparing to handle the property.  With the addition of My Little Pony, IDW now publishes four books with Hasbro characters with G.I. JoeTransformers, and Dungeons & Dragons.

With all the love that fans are showing for this series I think it’s about time that I que up the Netflix and put friendly ponies into my life.
