On June 15th Walmart is going to be screening a single scene from the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man movie, but there’s more to it than that.

The inital screening will be at 12 am, then again at 10 am, 3 pm, and 8 pm and will be repeated on June 16th as well. But wait, there’s still some more to this odd situation. Sony plans on selling DVDs of the scene as well. The discs are going to include the scene, some behind the scenes footage, and a promo for the tie-in video game. They are also going to come with a reprint of the Lizard’s first appearance, Amazing Spider-Man #6, all for $2.96. The idea itself is a little weird but seems cool enough. I know I won’t go more due to avoiding spoilers, but I think it may pay off for Sony in the end.

The armpit webs I get. The leg/arm/knee ones are a bit too much.

Brady, there are no leg/arm/knee “armpit style” webs. That is the webbing that Spider-Man is hanging from.
