As season three of The Walking Dead approaches, fans of the series are anxious to see what David Morrissey will bring to the role of The Governor.  Today, we have our first look at what AMC has planned.

The Governor is a sadistic, evil person, who takes advantage of the zombie apocalypse to seize control of Woodbury.  When Rick and his crew are found out, things get pretty icky, pretty quickly.

The Governor in the show is definitely going to be The Governor in the comic,” Kirkman told TVGuide.com following the Season 2 finale. “I think that he’s definitely going to be a character that people love to hate and are absolutely entertained by, but also somewhat terrified of. He’s definitely going to be a very important character and a very nuanced character. We are not going to be watering him down.”

If that is the case, there’s a pretty good chance we’re going to see that Michonne sequence that has everyone squirming in their seats.

Glad they decide not to go with the stache and he looks fantastic! Morrissey will do a great job bring the Governator to life and will make TWD season 3 all the more epic!
