The craziness at the Major Spoilers HQ has settled to a low riot, and that means we have some time to sit back, and reflect on the week that was.

• DC is switching up the sexual orientation of a character in the New 52, and the company says that character will be, “one of our most prominent gay characters.”  Really? What happened to Batwoman?
• We got our first look at the CW’s Arrow series, and reaction appears to be split.
• Ernie Hudson dropped by the Major Spoilers Podcast to talk up Transformers: Prime, and let everyone know where he stands on Ghostbusters 3.
• Sin City: A Dame to Kill For gets a 2013 release date, and a number of actors are returning to their roles.
• CBS decides to do their own adaptation of Sherlock Holmes and casting Lucy Liu as Watson.
• Fans react to the announcement that Dynamic Forces and Warner Bros. plan to license toasters that brand the Watchmen logo on your bread.
• The Smurfs are headed back to the theater two more times!

That was the week that was, and the week ahead is looking shiny and bright! Right?
