LEGO has been releasing fantastic ready-to-build sets for years, but the possibilities of the little bricks shine most when used in free form. Take the jump and see the props one fan has created. Avengers Assemble!

In honor of the Avengers movie release, buriedbybricks started building replica props and weapons from the featured characters. Creating them all to be on display for his local comic book store on FCBD, he was able to finish on time and have builds to proudly show off.     Eh. Back in the sixties, we used to make phasers and communicators out of Lego bricks. It was sort of difficult to make the communicators flip open since the only Lego blocks back in the day that could be used as hinges were the quarter circle blocks. Today, with all the special shapes and custom blocks, it’s not such a big deal.
