For some reason, seeing that one picture really makes me wish Norton had reprised his Banner.
Or been brought on to reprise his Banner (I think Norton was all-in, just that others said “no thank you).
The articles I read said differently, that he didn’t want to be a “team player”.
IIRC, what Marvel said when they announced that Norton wouldn’t be asked to reprise the role he played in the movie that brought the Hulk franchise back from the dead, Bruce Banner, was that Norton didn’t have a good history of being a team player (or worded something like that) not that he was refusing to be a team player on the upcoming Avengers film project. The only thing I’d heard previous to that was that Norton and Whedon had met, exchanged ideas, and that both were excited about the upcoming project.
And, FWIW, I don’t recall any tales of woe coming from the set of The Incredible Hulk. Only that Norton and Liv Tyler talked a lot about their characters. And that didn’t sound like they were having fights over it, just that they were really into the piece.
Basically, Marvel came out and said Norton wouldn’t be involved, with the not-so-subtle subtext of ‘this is not about money.’ Norton’s folks came back and said, ‘yeah, it is actually about money.’ In the end both sides were telling different stories and we got no Norton…which is just sad. That’s pretty much the ONLY thing about this movie that isn’t incredibly awesome in every way.
Because The Hulk is known for being a “team player”
WTF did they do to Fury’s eye?!?!?!
Yes, it’s always had the patch. But the scarring?!
Wolverine did it.
Also google Ultimate Nick Fury
I know about Ultimate Nick Fury.
This is Ultimate Nick Fury minus Wolverine (since the X-Universe movie rights reside with Sony).
And he’s never had such visible scarring before (check Iron Man 2).
