Slamdance is currently going on in Park City, and Tuesday will see the debut of With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story, but even before the bidding frenzy can begin, the movie already has a distributor.

According to Deadline, the Stan Lee documentary has already been picked up by EPIX, and will premiere on the pay channel and on later this year.

The documentary covers Lee’s life, from growing up in the Depression to finding his way to become an iconic comic creator during the Marvel heyday. The film features the likes of Tobey Maguire, James Franco, Samuel L. Jackson, Kirsten Dunst and others who’ve starred in Marvel movies.

Looks like there is only going to be one place for me to see this movie when it finally arrives, let’s just hope EPIX keeps it on their website for a long time.
