Ryan Ottley does a great job with Invincible, and in issue 87, Ottley took the time to redesign Dinosaurus.

Here’s some art from INVINCIBLE 87. Did a Dinosaurus redesign, his old costume was getting, well..old. ;) His new design is pretty basic, just metal pants. I wonder if putting them on is like a woman putting on tight jeans, lots of jumping up and down, laying on the bed to pull them up. I’ll tell Robert to add a scene like that. Also the splash page of Dinosarus and Invincible flying into the scene. The response to this issue was great, so glad to hear from so many that it excited them to the point of bursting out loud at that last page.

Ryan Ottley’s work is so great. Kirkman and Ottley are my favorite active creative team.

One thing that gets pointed out again and again about Invincible is how much some of the characters have changed with regard to appearance. Two good examples are Allen the Alien majorly beefing up as he survives more battles, and Atom Eve gaining pregnancy weight. Ottley makes these transitions look easy and I have to think it adds to reader immersion.

Also folks should stop hating on Cory Walker. I’d take him over at least half of the DC Relaunch artists.
