Tim Seeley’s Hack/Slash is finally headed to the big screen thanks Relativity. In addition to the film being given the go ahead, it’s been announced that a director has been selected as well.
Marcus Nispel, the director behind last summer’s Conan the Barbarian has been hired by the production company bring the book to life. While many panned the Conan film, for what it was, it wasn’t too bad. And considering Hack/Slash will be full of fight scenes and bloody violence, Nispel is probably a good choice. Nispel also directed a little film called The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
