Oni Press has announced that the first issue of the company’s new series, The Secret History of D.B. Cooper, will feature an alternate cover by J.H. Williams III.

“J.H. Williams is practically a legend himself,” commented series editor James Lucas Jones. “We’re all big fans of his work. His striking compositions are often like puzzles in that the more you look at them, the more you will find hidden, mysterious depths. This makes him the perfect artist to lend his hand to Brian’s unraveling of the D.B. Cooper folklore.”

This is a 1 to 10 ratio variant, and if you want one, you better get your local comic book store to order one today.  The Secret History of D.B. Cooper #1 arrives March 14, 2012, and has a cover price of $3.99.
