Ed Brubaker hinted around on Twitter for two days about this announcement, but it looks like Variety got the exclusive announcement that the scribe is turning his graphic novel, Coward, into a motion picture.
Coward is fhte first arc in the Brubaker, Sean Philips Criminal series printed by Marvel, and the story won an Eister award in 2007.
The first in a series of six interconnected stories, “Coward” centers on Leo, a master heist planner who lives in a world of hustlers, crooked cops, pickpockets and lowlifes.
According to the report, Twilight: Eclipse’s David Slade has been hired to direct.
