A while ago, Marvel released a little teaser video of the Agent Coulson, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. that is included in the upcoming Captain America: The First Avenger DVD/Blu-ray disc. Instead of making you wait, take the jump and see the whole short.
Attached to the upcoming Captain America Blu-ray release, “A Funny Thing” tells of Coulson’s journey from Tony Stark’s (aka Iron Man) pad in Malibu to the New Mexico site where we pick up his character in Thor. Apparently, somewhere in-between, the dry-witted gent finds himself in the middle of a convenience store robbery.
Captain America: The First Avengers arrives October 25, 2011.

That was great! Makes me want to pick up Thor and Captain America.
Clark Gregg’s joy is infectious since everything springing out of one line in Iron Man is just seen as frosting on the cake (or doughnut?) for him. This is over the top but I still loved it. I hope we get more but not so much that I stop wanting more of Agent Coulson!
Also, love that this is the kind of “added value” they’re putting on the disc. Will be buying Cap.
Wow. Do NOT mess with Phil Coulson.
That was great! :D
I hope they don’t over do his character in The Avengers, but they’ve used him great so far.
Well it is Joss Whedon movie so there are risks involved for this character.
surprise, unexpected character depth and, most importantly, FUN. Brilliant.
Nice Roxxon insert there.
A tease at some film plot point? Or maybe Iron Man 3?
I’m still disappointed that he didn’t defeat the robbers with the power of Hostess products.
