This week, on the Major Spoilers Podcast, the crew takes a look at the Japanese import Old Boy.
Old Boy
Twenty-five-year-old Shinichi Gotō was kidnapped one fateful night and locked up in a private jail for unknown reasons. There must be some mistake here. This is a manga. Major Spoilers doesn’t review… oh wait, they did cover Lone Wolf & Cub. Is there a blue moon out there in Kansas this week? ;p
Well, I don’t speak for Major Spoilers as an entity, being as I’m just one of the bozos on the bus, but we don’t “Not Review” much of anything. Whether we immediately THINK of reviewing Manga (as we have with Lone Wolf & Cub, the Okko series, and that thing with the other thing and the guy in it) is another matter.
When you say, “Hey, Matthew! What would you like to review?”, my likely response is going to be, “The Serpent Crown Saga” or “Superman’s Girlfriend: Lois Lane”. Rodrigo, of course, wants somethin’ with Maggott, and Stephen doesn’t care what we review, so long as it’s Volume 1. :D
I live in the Milford Lake area of Kansas, no blue moon,(or werewolves), the thing we have to deal with that is far from the stately Spoilerite Manor, has been the algae problem in the lakes around here…….
My grandma always used to fascinate me with tales of Milford Lake, specifically when they built the reservoir and flooded what used to be the town…
