Conan the Barbarian has returned to theaters, and though many have dismissed the movie as nothing to concern ourselves about, there are some who are really excited to see what Jason Momoa brings to the character.
The tale of Conan the Cimmerian and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria on a quest to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village.

I enjoyed the film more than I thought I would. Only a few complaints.
I didn’t find the narration necessary.
I didn’t think any part of the movie with the thief character was necessary either and should have been trimmed out.
I liked the lead female character at first because she seemed feminine yet capable and determined. But by the end she was just another damsel in distress. That was my biggest complaint.
Conan himself came across well. He had enough back story to make him interesting while he was beheading folks.
It is much better than the modern interpretation where Conan sues his enemies for defamation of character and mental distress.
The fight scenes were good. I think Conan will be a tough Barbarian when he reaches 3rd level and gains a new Feat. I’m pretty sure he already has Power Attack and Cleave.
