Stephen King’s upcoming novel 11/22/63 has been optioned by Clinica Estetico to be turned into a motion picture.  King’s book follows a time traveling English teacher who goes back in time to try and prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Jonathan Demme is the power behind Clinica Estetico and he plans to write, direct and produce the adaptation.

King’s book is scheduled to arrive in stores on November 08, 2011.

    This sounds like an episode of the Twilight Zone I saw. Not the classic, but one of the revivals — the segment was called “Profile in Silver”; Andrew Robinson played JFK and Lane Smith played the time travelling professor.
