“I’ve always been a fanboy of comic super heroes and have dreamed of creating one. I studied Tommy Gunn’s profile about a year ago and he reminded me of an eagle. I couldn’t shake the image and started working on a character with special eagle powers of keen sight and incredibly fast flight,” said director B. Skow.
With Gunn in the lead, Spread Eagle tracks the new hero’s discovery of eagle-like powers that he uses to clean up his crime ridden city. He discovers a young girl whose sister has been forced into prostitution by Big Lee (Lee Stone), who holds the city under his crooked thumb. Spread Eagle sets himself on a mission to set things right and pursues it with a passion.
“With its fast-paced scenes and our use of comic art, the movie should remind viewers of turning the pages of their favorite comic book,” Skow noted.
The movie stars Lexi Belle, Katie St. Ives, Lily La Beau, Tany Tate and Asa Akira, and on the guy side – John Strong, Marcus London and Jon Jon.
I was able to get my dirty hands on an advance screener of this movie (thanks uncle Chuck!), and I will say the Asa Akira scene is pretty hot. Of course I’m only able to watch the movie in 2 minute bursts, but I’m sure by the end of the week, I’ll have made it all the way through.
