Sony Pictures Animation has announced it has hired Adam Sandler to provide the voice of Dracula in the animated 3D comedy, Hotel Transylvania.

Hotel Transylvania is Dracula’s lavish, five-stake resort where monsters and their families can live it up, free from meddling humans.

Also joining the cast are Kevin James as Frankenstein, Fran Drescher as The Bride, David Spade as Quasimodo, Cee Lo Gree as a singing mummy, and Steve Buscemi and Molly Shannon as a pair of werewolves.

The flick is being directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, who most recently lead Symbionic Titan at Cartoon Network.

Hotel Transylvania is scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 21, 2012.
