Here is some good news for those who were disappointed that Fox passed on the Locke & Key television series – you get to see the pilot! The bad news? You have to be at the Locke & Key panel at the San Diego Comic Con.

“This one-time-only screening of the entire pilot will show you just what a void there will be on your TVs this fall,” IDW’s ad materials say. Locke & Key, directed by Mark Romanek and starring Miranda Otto and Nick Stahl, was one of the highest-profile pilots this past season.

You can thank IDW Publishing for going directly to 20th Century Fox seeking permission to screen the pilot.  The event takes place July 22, at 10:30 AM in Room 8 and 9.  If enough of you show up express your support for the show, perhaps, just perhaps the network will listen and bring the show back from the dead. Of course, this is Fox we’re talking about…

I hope someone goes in with a video camera and records this and puts it on You Tube. I would love to see this.
