Last week, word leaked that the script to the Avengers movie had been “borrowed” from Samuel L. Jackson, and offered up for sale to the highest bidder.  While stolen scripts and leaked information are nothing new, Marvel decided to stick it to the thief by halting production of The Avengers to rewrite the scenes that have been compromised.

There’s been no word on if the thief has been apprehended, but if I had a script that needed work, a stolen script story seems like a great scapegoat.

I misread that line the first time. I thought it said the script had been “borrowed” by Samuel L. Jackson.

It’s been officially debunked. The shut down, not the stealing…
