When a trailer for Seth Grahame-Smith’s Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter hit the Intardwebz, it seemed like a great way to promote a book.  Little did we know the book would get turned into a movie with Benjamin Walker playing the emancipating, vampire slaying, leader of the free world.

Here’s the book trailer from last year

This morning we learn that Rufas Sewell has landed the role of Adam, the lead vampire in the movie being released by 20th Century Fox.  According to Variety, Vampire Hunter is scheduled to be a June 22, 2012 tent-pole event that will presented in glorious 3-D.

A so-so trailer, but if you’ve read the book, the trailer doesn’t feel right. Considering it doesn’t have any of the actual cast in it, I’m sure it’s not an “official trailer.”
