Jack Sparrow and The Question were pretty good.
Guess no one could stop Supergirl from playing in or around the jail whenever she wanted to.
check out the one with Lara Croft being all flexible, the dude in the background is all like “OH SNAP!”
FYI: For the costume contest there were 3 groups, children, middle, and adults.
Each group was narrowed down to 3 entrants and whoever got the loudest response was declared the winner.
Batman family from the third pic had finalists in all 3 groups.
The Star Wars character won both of the younger groups from pics P3267829 (children finalists) and P3267831 (older children).
Of the adults P3267879, the finalists were Batman, Tuskin Raider (P3267841) and Mr. Freeze. Mr Freeze won.
There was a good turn out and many costumes and a lot of entrants for the first costume contest at the KC Planet ComicCon.
This was the first year of a Cosplay contest, and I believe they are planning one again next year.
Love the Wilddog cos play – good to see minor DC characters get some lovin’
Late opinion just in – Also love the Mr Freeze costume – he didn’t buy that online. Quality piece
Yeah, that was my favorite too.
Loved the Mr. Freeze one too. I think people should stop dressing up as Boba Fett and Two Face and a few other characters for a little while. I like the costumes, some are great, they just happen to be some of the characters that are most frequently done. That’s why I like seeing the more difficult or more obscure characters getting some play. Hawkgirls wings had to have taken some real time.
