In order to tie into the ’60s vibe of the upcoming X-Men: First Class movie, Total Film took images of the characters and tweaked them to look like covers to old Life and Esquire magazines from the time period.
After a rough start, I’m really starting to get excited about this movie, and will definitely check it out when X-Men: First Class arrives in theaters on June 03, 2011.

One word, Sweet!!!
This is the photo that confirms my suspicion that January Jones was miscast. Yes, I know, Emma Frost is blonde and busty. But Ms. Jones tends to convey “privileged, sullen princesses” with a flat accent no matter what the role (Unknown, Mad Men). So if the script requires Emma to display more than cleavage and a sourpuss attitude, Ms. Jones may be out of her depth.
And for those who are thinking “who cares, she’s hot”…meh. Given that Emma has consistently been drawn with bombshell curves, it wouldn’t hurt if January Jones ate a biscuit… or three.
And in the interest of equality I will note that McAvoy is a bit short to play Charles Xavier. Michael Fessbender seems perfect for his role.
