Wizards of the Coast has been building a lot of buzz over the final set in the Scars of Mirrodin block, codenamed “Action.” The block focuses on classic M:TG villains the Phyrexians trying to take over the metallic plane of Mirrodin.

WotC released images for an upcoming product called Mirrodin Pure and one called New Phyrexia, only one of which was the actual up-and-coming expansion. Apparently though, the Mirrans lose, as New Phyrexia was officially announced as the next set.

Rodrigo

Nobody really knows what Rodrigo's deal is. He is a perpetual enigma, an unknown quantity, the X factor. He's the new kid in school, the unlisted number, the person all your friends talk about, but you've never met. How can one person be so mysterious, you ask? THAT IS ALSO TOTALLY A MYSTERY! You can try to keep tabs on him on twitter by following @fearsomecritter, but that probably won't help.

What people have missed here is the fact that the original creator of miroddin is returning to “save” the mirrans. “The war is over but the struggle continues on.”
