Atomic Robo artist Scott Wegener is running an art auction to raise money for the relief effort in Japan, and he needs everyone’s help – including yours!

If you want to get your hands on some great art, and want to help those in need, read the email we just received and then start bidding!

Since Monday I’ve been running an art auction on eBay to try and raise some money to donate to the relief effort over in Japan. We’ve got 2 days left until the auction closes (though I might see about extending that), and the results are pretty underwhelming.

Beyond the long-term damage this is causing my fragile little psyche I’m more concerned with how little money I’m going to be able to donate to people in need of basic shelter, food, and medical attention on the other side of the globe.

I should have done this on Monday, but as Brian Clevinger will tell you, I am rather stupid in the face. I’m writing to ask if there is anything you guys could do to help spread the word in these last few days of the auction. If getting something up on your websites is not possible because of the last-minute nature of my request, perhaps just a few Tweets about it if you get the chance.

I really appreciate any help you can offer with this.

Here is a link to our blog post about the auction. All the links people will need to get at the art are in there.
