Why, exactly? I don’t understand the concept of the Blue Lantern’s “hope” powers and the character looks like a sperm with arms and legs. Instead of having the alien Walker working with the JLA why wouldn’t he have the “Blue Lantern Guardians” appoint a Blue Lantern of the Earth space sector?
I haven’t read all of the rainbow corps stories, but as near as I can tell Blue Lanterns are like support types in MMORPGs. They have buff/debuff powers that relate to the other rings and can heal. They can make Green Lanterns more powerful, charging and over-charging the green rings. And they can drain and suppress the powers of the red, orange, and yellow lanterns. In addition they can heal folks and break them out of mind control.
So in MMORPG terms, a character that you would play in a team setting and probably not solo very much.
Hmmm, I wonder why Green Lantern is capitalized and red, orange, and yellow lanterns are not? Sometimes I don’t know what I am doing.
