In April 2011, LegoLand in Southern California opens Star Wars MiniLand that includes 2,000 models from the franchise, all built in miniature – with LEGO!

Check that out – 1.5 million LEGO bricks used to build all the models.  The execution arena contains 30,000 bricks, and took five weeks to build.  Some people really do have the best jobs in the world!

    I love it when they talk about making something to scale against something that never existed in real life.

    WAIT! I’ve been to that Pod-racer arena! That is nowhere near CLOSE to scale for those characters!
