What happens when aliens crash into a really bad neighborhood in South London?

From the producers of SHAUN OF THE DEAD and SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD comes ATTACK THE BLOCK, a fast funny, frightening action adventure movie that pits a teen gang against an invasion of savage alien monsters. It turns a London tower block into a fortress under siege, and a weapon wielding teenage thugs into heroes. It’s inner city versus outer space

I’m wondering if there will be closed captioning for this one.

Apparently they had to do it for Eastenders (British soap of doom and gloom) when it went over to the US, (though that may have just been a rumour) and sarf landan/cockney as an accent (no, not the Van Dyke one) is easier to understand than council estate/chav (which is a language all of it’s own, kinda like pigeon english from the south west of England).

  2. The creatures look a little dumb, but the movie looks good. It’s telling that the one kid wants to go home, lock the doors and play FIFA. Not something you’d probably hear in an American movie.
