Marvel is teasing the X-Men: Prelude #1 issue with word that the X-Men are going to face a crisis that will “pit brother against brother, lover against lover, and mutant against mutant.”. The four-issue mini-series is written by Paul Jenkins, with pencils by Robert De La Torre and Laurence Campbell.
“To understand what is coming in the X-Men, you need to understand what has already transpired” says X-Men Senior Editor Nick Lowe. “The history of the X-Men is a huge tapestry and what we’re trying to do here is sum up the necessary info, while filling in blanks and adding new twists that will set fanboys a-Twittering. In this series, Paul lays out the complexities for the fans so they can see the foundation that is beginning to crack.”
X-Men: Prelude #1 has a $2.99 cover price, and arrives in May.

Is Mr. Lowe working on the assumption that whining and complaints are “good things”?
Hell it will all be retconned and the xbooks will have a new beginning and someone will come back and it all is a starting point for a new reader and someone will die and some will live and some will be scarred forever and it will be a success and many people will buy it and we are going to make five different covers for each issue and it is an x book so why can it not be a success and who cares if this has happened before because we just create mess for people to buy because it is an x book and you better buy it or then we will come up with another series that will kill another favorite x character if you dont buy this one and storm will have a baby and the baby will be Jean Grey in a different time line and the father will be Logan and you get the picture. It never ends with Marvel and xbooks. Glad I dont buy them.

Yeah, the “brother against brother” swtich has had its default setting as “Full Bore” in the X-Titles since at least the 70s.
