Jeff Smith is working on a Superman project that has not been officially announced by DC.  However, Jeff did post a sketch of the Man of Steel that looks pretty good.

One of my favorite memories of Superman from when I was a kid was the character busting through walls, either on the TV show, or as a plastic Aurora model kit.

I like this a lot. Two-fisted goodness, the spit curl is very nicely spun and I like the angry look on Supe’s face ; it looks very human, very annoyed, not embellished.

Somebody please turn this character loose in the comics like they did with the animated Justice League Unlimited series vrs. Captain Marvel, Captain Atom and Darkseid.

And am I one of the few people that would actually LIKE to see Supes go to the black/white “Justice Lords” costume full time? For goodness sake, Batman’s changed his gear like every 6 months since the 30’s and Kent’s been running around in the same blue and red tights since the Depression, with the exception of the forgettable “Energy Superman”, “Red and Blue” Superman and the “Return of Superman” black and whites.
