Ok. I’m going to have to get the “point one” issue of Cap and this first issue if for no other reason than to answer the questions I have that sound like they’re from Rip Hunter’s chalkboard: Why does Steve Rogers need to make a decision on the “next Captain America?” Is that Bucky Barnes in the “new” cap uniform or someone else? What the hell is up with the big blue stripe and huge star on the shield the cap in the CA&F#1 sneak peak is holding? And just how many damn costume variations has the Falcon gone through over the years? And what’s all this fuss about Russian jewelry?

I have never liked the new Cap outfit. The bright primaries of Old Glory being amputated by slate gray like that is just…gross. Also not a big fan of the shield’s new paint-job.

Falcon is a C-list hero – you have to do something with him to make people want to watch, unfortunately, and costume variation is it since Black Panther married storm and Luke Cage is a beefy baby-daddy who fights crimes half-naked in his civvies.

Always nice to see Spider-Woman, though.

Falcon on the cover could be the Leader’s twin
