Here’s some more information on that teaser Marvel released the other day about an all-new Venom.

In this shocking direction for everyone’s favorite symbiote, the government now has Venom as their own Spider-Man, complete with a new look and new mission—eliminate threats to America as a covert agent. But can anyone control the destructive force of Venom? And just who is the man behind the mask?

Marvel EIC and CCO Joe Quesada also offers up a variant cover.  The $3.99 Venom #1 arrives in March.

It’s Remender and Moore, they turned Punisher into a Frankenstein and made it awesome so they can do no wrong in my book.

  2. Venom as a government lackey… Didn’t they do something similar to that before?

I’ll have to wait to see how this plays out before I pass any real judgment, but it sounds intriguing at least.

  3. government operative…looks like spawn? The mystery figure on the second pic is Al Simmons! The other covers I can handle…but the eyes within the eys have always bothered me. I hope we dont see too much of that.

  4. It’s Haunt. J/K it’s probably John Jameson. It could be Flash given the way Moore is making Venom’s legs smaller than the rest of his body.

  5. Its Us Agent.I bet he would be looking for a way to get back into the game after losing his arm and leg during Siege.
