Before the end of Comic Con International 2010, the four day passes that included preview night were completely sold out for the 2011 show. July is still nine months away, but CCI plans to open ticket sales for the 2011 San Diego Comic Con on Monday November 1, 2010. The convention still has four day passes available for $105, but there is no preview night included in that package. More importantly, if you show up on the day of the show hoping to find a ticket, you’re going to be out of luck.
No badges or memberships for the 2011 Comic-Con will be sold on-site at the Convention Center. You must preregister everyone in your party before you arrive on site. Encourage your friends to register early, before we sell out.
“2010 was the fourth straight year in which we reached a self-imposed attendance capacity,” said David Glanzer, Comic-Con’s director of marketing and public relations. “With the impressive roster of talent we already have lined up for 2011, we expect that enthusiasm to continue and for the 2011 show to be one to remember.”
My prediction has the show completely selling out by the middle to end of February 2011.
