Press Release

Wizards of the Coast LLC, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE: HAS) and the leader in entertaining the lifestyle gamer, today announced Jerome Lalin as the new Vice President of Marketing.

Lalin comes to Wizards from Turbine, Inc. (publisher of massively multiplayer online games) where he was the Vice President of Marketing. While at Turbine, Lalin was the driving force behind the “free to play” business model for the Dungeons & Dragons® Online™ and The Lord of the Rings® Online™ role-playing games.

“I’m very happy to be joining the team at Wizards of the Coast,” said Lalin. “Wizards has always been at the forefront of providing great experiences for gamers, and their current brand portfolio presents an excellent opportunity to extend this rich tradition.”

Prior to Turbine, Lalin held numerous marketing and development roles at Houghton Mifflin and Vivendi giving him a wealth of experience in publishing, gaming and retail business. Particularly exciting for Wizards of the Coast, Lalin transformed the business models for key brands that have both digital and analog platforms.

“Wizards has achieved many milestones over the last year and is enjoying tremendous momentum right now,” said Greg Leeds, President of Wizards of the Coast. “This is the perfect time for Jerome to add his experience and expertise to our leadership team as we continue to move the organization to the next level of performance.”
