Press Release
Batman XXX: A Porn Parody, the sexy spoof of the popular ’60s TV show written, produced and directed by Axel Braun and distributed by Vivid Entertainment, won the Best Parody honors at the 18th Annual NightMoves Awards Show Weekend.
Braun himself took home the coveted Best Director award, given to winners voted by adult entertainment fans. Batman XXX: A Porn Parody has been at the top of the adult sales charts since it was released on May 24th and its two YouTube trailers have so far attracted over 1.5 million viewers.
The NightMoves trophy is the second award for Braun’s high-budget Batman spoof, which already won the parody category at the Fifth Annual F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media & Entertainment) Awards on July 10th at the L.A. Convention Center during the Exxxotica Los Angeles Expo.
“I am genuinely thrilled by the success of this movie, and the incredible response of the fans makes it all that much sweeter!” said Braun, whose next feature, Superman XXX: A Porn Parody from the SuperXXXHero imprint of Vivid is scheduled for a December release.
The NightMoves honor was announced at the NightMoves Award Show at the Dallas Bull Night Club in Tampa on Sunday evening, October 10, 2010. NightMoves is the nation’s second oldest local, adult entertainment publication. It started by covering area sports 22 years ago and morphed into Central Florida’s leading adult entertainment publication.

Enjoy while ya’ll can. The AP newswire’s reporting that two of the biggest porn studios (probably “Wham Productions” or “Splat Films”) have shut down production due to a “major porn actor” being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. I guess my only thought here would be while it’s tragic is this a surprise?
Also, Axel Braun sounds like a great name for either a metal band or a heel wrestler.
I am very surprised to hear that. Major porn studios want to take care of their actors/esses. They regulate the health pretty strictly to ensure there are no diseases being spread. Disease is bad for business and they are all about the money. In such a maligned industry they can’t really afford to let the nay-sayers have that kind of ammunition.
I have a very odd fascination with wanting to see this and the similar parody movies. It’s like a train wreck, you know you shouldn’t want to look but you just feel compelled to look or else you think you’ll regret it…..
(And I’m not saying that I don’t watch porn, I just have never known of a title that I actually felt compelled to seek out)
I’ll just wait for the Major Spoilers Review.
